DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Artist receives offline guides, storyboards, animatic, dialogue, layout, direction, and artworks and works closely with Supervisors and team mates to create composites and motion graphics, design and animation
• Create motion animatics and motion graphics as requirements for pre-production or post-production purposes
• Must be able to do most basic to intermediate 2D work functions using all available tools and software in achieving motion graphics, composites and effects
• Working closely with Compositing Supervisor to determine best approach to solve compositing challenges and develop final look; performing tasks such as tracking, matte extraction, color correction, paint fixes, roto, cosmetic retouches and assembly of live action and 3D elements producing a final overall look that meets client expectations
• He is expected also to well coordinate with all parties involved including Projects Manager, Art Director and UGL Producer for all deliveries needed
• Ensure all email, messaging correspondence and scheduling is up to date, responding to emails in a timely manner

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of Multi-Media Arts & Design, Gaming and Animation, Digital Arts, Fine Arts and similar courses
• A degree of knowledge in classical animation, film, or related fields, or equivalent video production experience
• Should demonstrate application of the principles of animation, storytelling, as well as strong artistic judgment with eye for detail
• Knowledge of traditional art skills and techniques: composition, color, lighting, depth, drawing, painting and photography
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as self-driven along with good communication skills to partake of the work in a team setup
• Good to superb understanding of Photoshop and related applications

• Will work closely with compositors to finish selected shots so that computer generated elements are seamlessly integrated with live-action plates

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Maya and/or 3Ds Max as well as a firm understanding of video and film production / post production techniques in a production environment
• At least 1 year of experience lighting for TVCs and/or Feature Films
• Elementary or Intermediate-level compositing experience (Fusion and/or After Effects)
• Ability to problem solve and predict potential problems with assigned tasks
• Ability to manage personal as well as team milestones and deadlines
• Strong communication skills are critical. Candidate must be able to work within a team, taking direction and exercising attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment
• Experience with V-Ray, Mental Ray and/or Maxwell Render (a plus)

As a concept artist, you will use your good design skills -- which include, the effective use of color, form, light and composition -- for the visual design or development of certain elements, like objects, characters, environment, graphics, typography, etc, for use in visual effects and commercials.
PRE-PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops ideas from concept through quick sketches to finished illustrations to be used for pitches, treatments, production designs and visual references.
• Creates detailed storyboards for and with the director.

POST-PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Helps visual effects supervisors and/or art directors visualize concepts and ideas from client directors, agency creatives or clients for the purpose of getting approvals before certain requirements are produced in post-production.

SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS
• Completed training or a degree in art, animation, visual effects or equivalent education.
• Very good up-to-date knowledge of computer illustration software packages such as Photoshop, Illustrator or other 2D art and painting programs.

1) Relies on Engineering Department established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions.
2) Assists end users in resolving hardware and software issues by fielding telephone calls, email communication and technical reports.

Education and Experience
· Require a Computer Engineering degree or its equivalent and 1–2 years of relevant experience.
· Graduate of BS in Computer Engineering (BSCoE) course or related programs
· 1-2 years of experience in the field of Computer Engineering Technology.
· Proficiency in Windows base platform, understanding Mac or Linux is an advantage.
